Is The Nike Mac Attack The Shoe Of The Summer?

Many believe Travis Scott played a big role in the (speculative) re-release of the Mac Attack

Originally produced in 1984 for tennis star John McEnroe, rumors of the Nike Mac attack have been heard through the grapevine for a few years. After being seen worn by the likes of Travis Scott and Lebron James, the sneaker community’s attention on the Mac Attack picked up. While no official statement or release date has been Nike, the Mac Attack’s are rumored to be dropping in late spring/summer and I can’t wait.

I think this will be the shoe of the summer for 2023. Featuring a retro design that echoes functionality and style, the Max Attacks are a logical competitor to court shoes like the Nike Dunk, New Balance 550, ASICS EX89, etc. I love the mid ankle silhouette and the layout of the shoe is simple, yet refreshing. This is the perfect summer shoe.
